naked gun was good, but i think it kinda got redundant and boring after all the other sequels

i find that mel brooks movies start to look the same after a while. spaceballs was good, no doubt, but i think i laughed harder with naked gun.

yea, i think parodies these days just play off of the fact that most people who watch the parodies are probably watching it half baked... so they know it doesn't have to be that good to be good

i think it's part of the whole evolution of comedy though. like i said, movies that i thought were hilarious when i was a kid don't seem to be as funny now.
