i have a feeling he's the original author like alicia theorized.

i wonder if this is how they're gonna keep the show going too. If the author can change the book, each new season could have different twists and turns. But even then, that'd get boring fast

I'm sure the writers realize that using fairytale stories as the only basis of the show will limit it. My guess is that these early episodes are just to introduce all the required fairytale elements into the storyline, then the real story will begin. I think the real story is going to be the battle between the evil Queen, Rumpelstiltskin and the heroes. This peaceful atmosphere that they've got going isn't going to last forever.

i wonder if they can even ever go back to their realm. i wonder if they're stuck on earth forever, and somehow there will be a meld of this world and that one.

and were there pages missing out of the book? i was under the impression that henry just ripped out the ending after he read them already.

Yeah, I think Henry did rip the pages out of it... but that's what I'm saying. Because the book was missing pages, the curse hasn't been healing lately. The book probably had to be fixed so Emma can do more healing.

hm. not sure about that. hansel and gretal were "healed", but the pages of the book were out way before christmas. in fact, i think they were out by the 3rd or 4th episode.

Hansel and Gretal weren't healed... they were just saved. By healed, I mean remember stuff from their past.

I dunno, it's just a theory anyway. It's not perfect. Kinda like the big bang theory.

huh? who remembered things from the past? the only person was charming, who was in a coma so the spell wasn't really on him. rumplestiltskin remembers because he's more powerful than the queen. and henry remembers because he wasn't even there.

The sheriff remembered.

Then after that, the pages got ripped out, and people only started to remember but couldn't quite get there. Like Snow White and Jiminy Cricket. Other things stopped happening too. Like how the clock started moving again.. stuff like that doesn't happen anymore.

sheriff remembered because he kissed emma... maybe she needs to french everyone in storybrooke to break the curse? now THAT's a theory

oh yeah, i forgot that the sheriff started to remember.

oh yea, and anyone else find it lame that Regina has a humungo set of keys that magically open any lock in storybrooke? that seems like cheating to me

every city in the old days had rumours of the master keys that the governing body would have. nowadays it's not so much because locks are so sophisticated, but i remember being told the rumours once upon a time.

i wonder what the queen brought with her from the other realm. i mean, besides the whole heart dungeon and her dad's carcass.
now that i think about it, it makes sense that the author is rumple's son. somehow rumple protected him and told him the story? i dunno.

Why would he have powers though? He was just a normal kid...
Also, how did he protect his son, when he wasn't sure he could protect himself.

He also loves Belle.. he didn't protect her.
