FREE Slurpees at 7/11

Just a reminder to all those thirsty people out there, same as every year, today is free slurpee day at 7/11 because it's 7/11 today.

every year i hear about this and not once have i gone. it's only for the small slurpee, right? which is what, 49 cents? i don't want to stand in line for an hour to save 2 quarters.

so i went to 7/11 today to get a "free" slurpee, and it wasn't even for a "small" slurpee... they have special cups behind the counter they give out for the free slurpees... lol.. and these cups are the size of those ikea kiddy cups... lol... i took one look and gave it back to the clerk and told him i'd pay 1.50 for a bigger cup lol...

oh and i must've gotten a clerk with really bad math skills or something because he took literally a minute to hand me back my change... he wasn't breaking up coin rolls either... it looked like he couldn't figure out which coins to hand back to me... when he finally handed it back i didn't even bother counting what he gave me cuz it took so long... i just left

was there a line up? and it's only until a certain time, right? winnie asked me if i wanted to go yesterday and i was like... hm, i have a fridge stocked with beer, pop and assorted beverages, i have ice cream in the freezer, and i'm sitting in an air conditioned room playing with my kids. nope, don't think i need one haha.

i dunno if it was until a certain time, but there was no line up. there were a buncha kids on bikes sitting outside the 7/11 enjoying their 2 sips of slurpee though
