This show was friggin amazing. The acting was great all around. I never liked Kevin Costner as an actor (although I enjoyed a couple of his movies), but in this show, his acting ability really stood out. He's done quite a few movies based in the "wild west" era, but has always been bland. In his role as Hatfield, he was really immersed in it. He had the southern drawl down and you see him go from carefree to angry and vengeful and really own his character.

Highly recommended.

You've never heard of the Hatfields and Mccoys? It's where the saying "the real Mccoy" came from.

The most well known bloodiest family feud in American history. Took place after the civil war and lasted 30 some odd years.

This show is a dramatization of that story.
