you just have to watch it to understand. i think saying more would detract from the viewing experience. it is not your "typical" horror movie. all i can say is i recommend watching it.

Agreed this movie is a very enjoyable horror movie in its own right. But the Satirical cleverness is brilliant.

parody = poking fun of a subject by silly imitation
satire = a subtle commentary on deficiencies and/or shortcomings of a particular subject

naked gun = parody of cop shows
wizard of oz = satire of political realities during the depression
