either case, i'm looking forward to this movie. i think of all remake/prequel type things, these star trek series are pretty awesome.

Yeah, I like it because it's an alternate universe. I didn't like it at first because it wasn't "traditional" enough, but I started to like it more after watching it a second time.

i know a lot of ost fans roll their eyes on the alternate universe thing, but i thought it was a pretty clever way to cover their tracks. they can borrow all they want from the ost but they also have a great excuse to not be 100% accurate.
