yea, watched it too... i think another lame part was that the road blocks or whatever were so easy. at least in the american version they make it hard enough where people stumble a few times before making it through... it seemed like all the teams made it through with one try.

I only watched a part of it. It was dumb that they made Vancouver look like China/Hong Kong. Maybe it was just that one part though, but I still cringed when I saw it.

i didn't see the second episode yet (which features vancouver), but they did say in the preview that they were in the heart of chinatown. they failed to mention that chinatown is about the size of metrotown and only a moron can't find his way out of there.

yea, the chinatown portion was lame... find a tea shop, drink tea, memorize ONE chinese character, go to another place, write the character and you're done the chinatown portion...

i finally saw it last night, and yeah the chinatown part was lame. winnie said that if i were on it, i would have sucked at both tasks because my chinese sucks haha and i would have been an embarrassment to all chinese people everywhere. but memorizing a character isn't a big deal.

oh, and a friend of mine was in the audience at the oval. they had a close up of her face for a split second. it made me lol.
