My draft forecast for Neimi is based on the expected outcome of this season. I believe he will be the goalie starting for chicago come playoff time. Also from my understanding he is not a RFA for 2010-2011 from my understanding but pending an arbitration ruling for his salary (www.hockeybuzz.com)

Hjalmarsson:
Potential of a Top 4 Dman. Peak Potential of 40tps. This will be situational of course. In chicago he'll only be top 6 unless they unload some of their stacked blueline. He has some decent skills, a two-way defencemen type.

Sexton:
I did not even know this guy's name two weeks ago. His recent play has been impressive however. Once Selanne returns he will lose his spot on that line and potentially the team. 6 games is too hard to make a judgement call for me though.

haha.. this sexton kid came outta nowhere... he was undrafted at the nhl level too... i have a feeling he'll fizzle a bit after this hot streak... only time will tell

was considering him. Chose Carter Ashton instead b/c of his size. Knock on O'reilly was his skating so scared me off.

Wow it's getting stale in here. Was hoping there would be more feedback. Ok I am going to throw out a 2010 eligible player. A guy i have been follow for a couple of years now.

Kirill Kabanov:
When comparisons to ovechkin were made about this kid about 2 years ago he started to catch my interest. Talk about him has quieted down though as everyone has jumped on the Hall bandwagon, all good for me as I hope he drops later in our draft. Hockeydb lists the kid at 6'3. Picture that ovechkin aggresive attitude in a bigger size. He was offensively dominate in the u18 last year. The best part is... he's already crossed the ocean, so you know he wants to play here. I predict an early 1st round pick. I think he'll be one of the players that could potentially crack 100+ pts. in the NHL.

usually I don't look until the actual draft year. Kids develop so differently from year to year. some inconsistencies just don't go away or some potentials just never get filled.

Look at all the #1 overall bantam draft picks and you'll see.

I think Cleary was one of those guys. Perhaps J. Sauve (Van 2nd r pick - dman - last year)

Let's not forget about Pavel Brendl, Patrick Stefan, A. Volchkov, and Daigle.

Legwand was supposed to be the next Modano.
