I know, I know, Coleen’s been a tad too video happy lately. I made the mistake of showing her how to embed vimeo streams into her posts so now you all get to suffer through clip after clip after clip…. sorry. But, being the hypocrite that I am, I will now subject you to one of my own…. muhahahaha. Ok, it’s not my clip, nor is it a video per se, more a collection of images that my cousin Joyce put together for us. If you haven’t been following along with the blog, I’ll just catch you up quickly. Back in the beginning of October, Reagan went on her first airplane ride as we ventured down south to the city of angels to attend my grandparent’s 70th wedding anniversary. While we were there, we met up with a whole bunch of relatives from my mother’s side that we hadn’t seen in a while. Two of which, are avid photogs. My cousin George worked for various technology sector companies over the last decade or so (most recently Activision) but is now on somewhat of a sabbatical and has really started to focus on his love of landscape photography. My other cousin Joyce was an engineer at 3M for what seemed like FOREVER, but finally gave up the gig over a year ago and is pursuing her passion, cinematography. In fact, for all you NFL fans out there, she’s currently working the sidelines and is shooting a bunch of promo clips for them. If you ever watch the broadcasts, you might even spot her, or her husband Ray running around getting footage. Talk about a good gig eh? Free Superbowl admission too, and they aren’t even huge football fans…. but I digress. Ray and Joyce first started out doing wedding photos & cinematography; You can check out their site via the link that also resides in the “Cool People” tab on the left. Seeing as how we were down there for the weekend, we took the opportunity to do a family shoot with her on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in sunny Pasadena. We had a ton of fun shooting and we really appreciate the amount of time that Joyce spent with us. Thanks a bunch Joyce!!!
